Restaurant Manager Job Description

Hooters of America LLC is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our Hooters of Newnan location. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the operation, including hospitality, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, drink presentation, and atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People:
    • Manage performance of hourly employees, with a focus on Front of House staff.
    • Hire and retain top talent.
    • Develop leadership and coaching skills.
    • Provide training and development opportunities.
  • Customer:
    • Ensure exceptional guest service and atmosphere.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements.
    • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
    • Launch new menu items and products.
  • Financials:
    • Deliver results-driven performance.
    • Develop and execute business plans.
    • Manage inventory and control profit and loss.
  • Standards:
    • Ensure responsible alcohol service.
    • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Upkeep Hooters Girl image and standards.
    • Ensure facility maintenance and cleanliness.
    • Ensure safety and security protocols are in place.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Schedule and staff effectively.
    • Manage cash handling and vendor relationships.
    • Develop and implement team-building initiatives.
    • Manage local store and grassroots marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of full-service restaurant management experience in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of food safety and sanitation training.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • General knowledge of full-service restaurant operations and hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service and hospitality environment.
  • Strong coaching skills.
  • Intermediate mathematical computation skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities.
