Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Content Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, you will be responsible for promoting the mission and brand of Prestonwood Christian Academy School System with excellence to prospective and current families through video production, graphic design, and creation of social media content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture and record video and photography content for digital distribution on social media and various platforms.
  • Conduct video shoots, editing ability a plus.
  • Brainstorm with Marketing & Communications Team to bring ideas to life through video presentation.
  • Keep track of PCA video equipment, video supplies, and video shoot schedules.
  • Assist in maintenance of video archives.
  • Attend and coordinate video needs for assigned school events (including some evenings and weekends).
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree, with a concentration in video production, or the equivalent obtained through training and experience.
  • Minimum two years' experience with video production and editing in a professional environment OR of camera experience with Canon, Nikon, Sony, DJI, or other related DSLR recording capability with an understanding of frame rates, dimensions, LUTS, recording color temperature and color correction in post-production.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier, Photoshop, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, and Illustrator and/or Final Cut X.
  • Excellent organization, time management and multitasking skills.
Physical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Lifting between 30 to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
  • Regularly uses close and distance vision.
  • Works primarily at a desk with computer screen for extended periods of time, 50% sitting, other 50% in a live event environment walking & standing.
  • Turns, bends, reaches and may occasionally use a step stool or ladder.
  • Works primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment.
  • Frequent outside travel between buildings or for outside video shoots, at PCA Plano and PCA North.
