Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Agent to join our team at The Michael Sloan Agency in Farmington Hills, Michigan. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance and other property and casualty products to customers, building strong relationships, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales opportunities by persistently pursuing leads and closing business.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified prospects using our CRM system.
  • Meet daily KPIs and monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of property and casualty products and GEICO's sales training.
  • Contribute to the sales team's revenue, culture, and brand image.
  • Be an ambassador of GEICO's sales principles and values.
  • Possess or obtain a Michigan Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Counsel customers, cross-sell other business lines, quote, and bind insurance.
  • Ensure attendance and punctuality, and maintain a positive attitude during work hours.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of interactive phone sales experience.
  • 1+ year of insurance work experience.
  • 2+ years of property and casualty insurance experience.
  • English and Spanish language proficiency.
  • Michigan Property and Casualty Insurance License.
