This Sales Manager position would be a national sales role selling my client's line of microbials that promote natural food safety and preservation for fresh foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and oversee an annual sales budget, aligning it with targeted goals and objectives.
  • Apply and manage pricing strategies across assigned accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Participate in critical business decision-making meetings, both internally and with clients.
  • Lead technical discussions, support customers with troubleshooting, and coordinate project execution.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Prior experience selling functional ingredients in a B2B environment is preferred.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline, setting milestones, and tracking key performance metrics.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum. Home-office based, ideally near a major U.S. airport for ease of travel. This role requires 20-40% travel, with higher travel frequency expected in the first few months.
