Landscaping Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Maintenance Specialist to join our team at TahoeNV. As a key member of our property care team, you will be responsible for executing daily landscaping and maintenance operations to uphold the property's high level of care, safety, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees and shrubs, weeding, and removing debris to keep landscapes clean and attractive.
- Plant, water, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns. Monitor plant health and apply pesticides or herbicides as needed.
- Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes. Adjust and program irrigation timers and controllers.
- Perform the installation of new landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, sod and mulch.
- Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning properly and repair any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with our Home Office daily, external contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and other services as needed.
- Conduct prescribed regular inspections to identify and resolve property maintenance needs.
- Handle oversight of subcontractors to include quality of service reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Working knowledge of general construction: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, pool maintenance, and landscaping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.
- Ability to perform physically demanding maintenance tasks.
- Flexibility to work within a dynamic environment.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, initiative and discretion.
- Ability to operate independently and work as an integral part of a team within prescribed performance guidelines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Pass background check.
- Excellent references required from current and previous employers, as well as personal references.
- High school diploma required.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping or related field.
- Computer knowledge: Office 365 & Cloud-Based storage programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Trade Skills.
Work Environment:
- Adherence to limited on-call/afterhours procedures.
- Hours 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
- Flexibility to change hours due to projects and owner visits.
