Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CEI teams on complex highway and bridge initiatives for various clients.
  • Direct intricate and specialized construction engineering management and inspection operations.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate the activities of team members and staff.
  • Engage in project marketing and lead the preparation of proposals.
  • Maintain and enhance existing client relationships while cultivating new partnerships.
  • Ensure the thoroughness and precision of the project team's output by actively supervising and guiding towards overarching project goals.
  • Delegate tasks and develop timelines in accordance with project requirements.
  • Design and implement assessments to evaluate project advancement.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
  • Collaborate with external vendors as necessary.
  • Provide management with updates on project status.
  • Recommend adjustments to project schedules when required.
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the field.
  • Offer leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • May serve as a lead or first-level supervisor.
This role necessitates a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET accredited institution. A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
