We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Koam Engineering Systems, Inc. (KES Inc.). Key Responsibilities- Conduct systems and system of systems architecture design, testing, implementation, integration, review, and certification activities
- Generate and review system hardware documentation, including development and baseline of program integrated master schedules
- Update and maintain activity progress, risks, and milestones using MS Project and other scheduling software
- Participate in integrated product teams and engineering/design reviews, conducting data analyses, interpreting, and summarizing results
- Conduct technical requirements definition/allocation, feasibility studies, and testing on new and modified designs
- Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication, developing technical documentation, including test plans and reports
- 4-year post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Systems, IT Business Systems, or Business Administration
- Existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the Secret level, with the ability to maintain necessary security clearance/eligibility for employment
- 10+ years of specialized experience in AEGIS Ashore/AEGIS BMD systems engineering process, including requirements definition, requirements traceability, and alignment to PEO C4I programs of record
- 3+ years of experience with using Microsoft Project to develop, maintain, and resource load schedules, including the use of Gantt Charts and Milestone Professionals to develop presentations
- Strong leadership, project engineering, and design skills, with exceptional presentation, oral, and written communications skills
- Demonstrated experience in system integration, detailed system analysis, risk, and trade-off analysis, with experience in fabrication methods of sheet metal and machined parts
