Transition to Nursing Practice Program

Boston Children's Hospital is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment that reflects the communities we serve.

Our Transition to Nursing Practice (TNP) Program is designed for newly licensed RNs, providing a comprehensive 12-month residency experience that combines classroom education and precepted shifts to launch a successful nursing career.

The program is nationally accredited by the ANCC PTAP and is focused on the transition from student to professional nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality care for inpatient pediatric patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Graduation with a BSN by the program start date.
  • A valid MA RN license by the program start date.
