Position Title: Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing and interpreting future channel inventory reserves and program reserves, while delivering strategic insights through sophisticated reporting and analytics. This position offers the opportunity to engage with diverse business functions and collaborate across various geographical locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of monthly and quarterly revenue closing activities, which include the posting of revenue and contra revenue journal entries, as well as preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Generate precise and timely monthly and quarterly revenue reports, ensuring reconciliation between reporting tools and general ledger, and compiling management reporting packages.
  • Develop monthly future rate tables by refreshing historical data on Point of Sale (POS) and Special Pricing Authorization rates, sell-through, and channel inventory metrics to assist Business Unit Finance in determining final future rates.
  • Facilitate meetings regarding future rate tables and lead discussions on gross margin analytics with the Business Unit Finance and Revenue teams to gather insights on future rates.
  • Conduct reporting analytics to evaluate variances and assess the influence of business activities on revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales Operations, Channel Inventory Management, and Business Unit Finance, to enhance the efficiency of revenue reporting processes.
  • Manage audit requests in support of both internal management and external audits, ensuring all assigned revenue deliverables are completed accurately.

Essential Skills:

  • Over 6 years of experience in audit and corporate revenue accounting within the semiconductor or hardware technology sectors.
  • Extensive experience in corporate revenue operations, particularly in rebate accounting and future channel inventory management.
  • Exceptional communication and data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in system operations including SAP/Oracle Cloud, OBIEE, and Power Business Intelligence.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at various organizational levels.

Job Type: Contract position with a duration of 6-9 months.

Work Environment: Hybrid schedule available.
