Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Grifols, S.A is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the San Francisco, CA area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers in the San Francisco, CA area.
  • Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and electronic/electromechanical devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades on instrumentation and its interface at customer sites.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure proper resolution and close out of regulated documentation in the CRM system.
  • Manage inventory of parts and calibrated tools stored at primary customer sites.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience working with lab equipment and/or electronic/electromechanical equipment with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical or related Scientific Discipline.
  • Excellent organizational, record keeping, and inventory skills required.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO and other certifying agency policies and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and familiar with computerized call handling systems.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
