About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager Senior to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage project design and/or construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight.
  • Construction Inspections: Conduct construction inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codes, and generate reports.
  • Contractor Management: Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance, and ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into MAXIMO software project management tool.
  • Communication: Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders, and provide official weekly project status reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and notify the Government in writing of non-compliant safety hazards and recommended corrective actions.
  • Project Closeout: Prepare Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any field, or high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years' work experience in a similar field.
  • Experience: Ten (10) years' of experience in construction management, and experience applying building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
