Job Summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a skilled Triage Nurse to join our team. As a Triage Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish personal rapport with patients to identify their care requirements
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
  • Work in partnership with mid-levels and PCPs to evaluate patients with ambulatory diagnoses and possible acute conditions
  • Initiate treatment, if necessary, for common ambulatory diagnoses in consultation with mid-levels and/or PCPs
  • Promote patient independence by establishing care goals, teaching patients and their families, and answering questions
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of Urgent Care experience
  • Ability to perform procedures such as starting an IV, administering injections, and performing EKGs
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team of healthcare providers
  • Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bilingual in English and Spanish
