Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data to determine patient diagnoses or issues
  • Advocate for patients and families as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate obstetric patients for situations that may compromise their well-being
  • Participate in routine deliveries and planned or emergent Cesarean Sections
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and ensure effective care
  • Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or multistate licensure
  • 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery
  • BSN preferred
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification within 60 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification prior to employment start date
