Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled commercial carpenter to join our team at Blueprint Skilled Services. As a commercial carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including blueprint reading, rough framing, stairs, backing and blocking, door frame install and hardware, punch list, exterior framing, door install, drywall patch/repair, interior layout, Tyvek, decking, retaining walls/erosion, wall and roof framing, and loading and unloading building material before and after demolition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Perform rough framing, stairs, backing and blocking, and door frame installation
  • Install and repair drywall, doors, and windows
  • Conduct punch list and exterior framing tasks
  • Load and unload building materials
Requirements
  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Basic construction safety training
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on the construction site
