Culinary Specialist

At Dial Silvercrest Corp., we are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to our weekly menu plan, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and meet budgetary requirements.
• Alter or adapt recipes to accommodate special dietary needs of residents, using fresh ingredients and minimal added sodium.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to state food-handling regulations and proper infection control procedures.
• Coordinate and participate in serving food, ensuring that all residents receive their meals in a timely and respectful manner.
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient operation of the facility, reporting any concerns or issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with commercial cooking or domestic cooking with large groups preferred.
• Certificate in food-preparation training is a plus, as is experience in supervision and a willingness to learn and help others.
