Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary: El Centro Family Health is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide intensive therapy to individuals, children, adolescents, families, and groups to improve their skills and abilities to manage their lives and interact positively with their community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide brief and intensive therapy to individuals, children, adolescents, families, and groups.
- Assess and develop treatment plans to address identified problems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human service field.
- Provisional license as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT).
- Completion of internships with appropriate supervision.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Requirements:
- License as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW or LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Experience with treatment of substance abuse.
- Experience in group work and family/couples counseling.
- Ability to work with children of all ages and their families.
- Bi-lingual: English/Spanish fluency.
