We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Emergency Department Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for accurately registering patients for their care, collecting demographic and insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and families upon arrival and provide a warm and welcoming experience
• Accurately register patients for their care, including entering demographic and insurance information
• Collect copays and process payments in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient care delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and compassionate manner
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease

Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in healthcare registration
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
