Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Creative Event Coordinator and Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at Michaels Stores. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating memorable events.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events within our stores, including kids' birthday parties and other craft classes or events. You will engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity. Your responsibilities will also include demonstrating and instructing party participants in the completion of craft projects, performing face painting and other activities, facilitating and implementing party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc., communicating events with clients and store team members, completing administrative tasks, adjusting plans and events based on client's feedback and needs, creating backup or emergency plans, ensuring client satisfaction, and upholding the company's cleanliness and safety standards.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
