We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct observation and support to patients with mental health or behavioral safety needs.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize specialized training and de-escalation techniques to create a therapeutic environment for patients
- Collect data related to patient care and communicate responses to the care provided to the Registered Nurse
- Administer basic treatments and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related human services field (preferred)
- One year experience in an acute care setting, mental health, human services, or related (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
