We are seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Asset Manager to join our team at CSG Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our mobile equipment fleet in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance cost efficiencies, availability, and productivity in HME by improving transparency, developing structured planning approaches, and overseeing fleet size, replacement, and maintenance.
  • Manage and deliver accurate and detailed HME Fleet data systems.
  • Improve HME performance relative to operating costs (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
  • Serve as the Fleet Management Subject Matter Expert for all operations in US and Canada.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize performance metrics (KPIs) to assess and enhance the performance of the NAM HME Fleet, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Share and implement innovative ideas, best practices, and solutions.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to strengthen Fleet Management and Load and Haul processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with HME OEMs.
  • Promote the use of the database for Fleet Planning, Maintenance, and Repairs.
  • Develop and implement 5-year Fleet Plans.
  • Drive process assessments locally to improve performance, maintenance management, cost efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or At least 10 years of Mobile Mining Equipment experience and mechanical qualifications.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with major OEMs such as Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr, and Volvo.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, coupled with process methodology and change management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial skills, financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
