KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

  • The Accounting Specialist will manage Aging communications with vendors.
  • Assist in confirming AR invoice dates and categorizing them appropriately.
  • Conduct AR reconciliations between internal records and third-party logistics statements.
  • Perform AP reconciliations and collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Handle cash applications and prepare vendor payments efficiently.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

  • Must be proficient with technology and capable of managing tasks remotely.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are vital for effective vendor interactions.
  • Desirable (but not mandatory): Proficiency in performing If/Then lookups and creating Pivot tables in Excel.
