Advanced Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team as an Urgent Care Provider. As a key member of our primary care team, you'll be responsible for managing patients' acute care concerns in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a unique blend of urgent care and primary care skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patients' acute care concerns, including STI diagnosis and treatment, staple removal, suture removal, pelvic exams, I&Ds, IVs, nebulizer treatment, URIs, coughs, bronchitis, UTIs, chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatry screening and stabilization.
- Maintain evidence-based and current knowledge as it relates to urgent care practice and procedures, as well as basic proficiency in primary care topics such as hypertension, diabetes, depression/anxiety, etc.
- Document physical exams, procedures, and in-office medications/prescriptions.
- Completed an accredited FNP program or PA program with a national certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a full family Advanced Practitioner seeing all ages (0+) in an urgent care or emergency care setting, or 1 year in an urgent care or emergency care setting coupled with 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to work at least 3 holidays a year.
- Ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts).
- State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date.
- Competitive salary range: $174,000 - $184,000 based on a full-time schedule.
