Expanded Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities:- Manage patients' acute care concerns in a primary care setting
- Diagnose and treat common conditions, including STIs, respiratory issues, and mental health concerns
- Maintain evidence-based knowledge and current skills in urgent care and primary care practices
- Document physical exams, procedures, and prescriptions
- Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with national certification
- At least 2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency care, or 1 year in urgent care coupled with 1 year in outpatient primary care
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- State licensed in California by start date
- Paid sabbatical for every five years of service
