CentiMark Corporation, a leading National Commercial/Industrial Flooring Contractor, is seeking a dedicated Branch Safety Inspector to oversee safety protocols across multiple locations including Stow, Buffalo, Detroit, and Cincinnati.

Key Responsibilities

This role will report directly to the Regional Director and is essential in maintaining safety standards on all projects within the region. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations on-site.
  • Participating in customer meetings as necessary.
  • Conducting on-the-job training for crew members.
  • Investigating safety claims and incidents.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of flooring procedures and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, along with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in flooring, construction, or safety.
  • The ability to achieve a score of at least 90% on safety examinations.
  • Capability to obtain OSHA 30-hour Certification.
  • A valid state driver's license in good standing, with a willingness to travel extensively.
Job Duties

Key duties include:

  • Setting up project safety measures and conducting inspections.
  • Assisting in the establishment of fall protection systems and pre-job inspections.
  • Reviewing and signing off on fall protection plans.
  • Performing safety inspections across all crews.
  • Ensuring all safety documentation is available on-site.
  • Addressing safety violations in accordance with company policies.
  • Reporting inspection findings to the Regional Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly training sessions.
  • Traveling between offices, including overnight stays.
