Inventory Control Specialist

The Seasonal Inventory Control Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining overall store inventory control, working closely with the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to guarantee that the sales floor is fully stocked with merchandise. This expert of inbound and outbound inventory activity ensures a positive customer experience, supports sales goal objectives, and assists in the proper flow of merchandise to the sales floor. Additionally, they maintain accurate inventory levels, complete required documentation, and ensure the stock room remains clean and organized.
- Foster a service culture, exceed expectations, and build long-standing customer relationships.
- Process incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
- Verify deliveries comply with Company standards.
- Prepare merchandise for the selling floor, adhering to ticketing and signage guidelines.
- Apply EAS tags according to Loss Prevention guidelines.
- Input freight information accurately through systems.
- Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets, or mark downs efficiently and timely.
- Maintain high productivity by achieving UPH targets.
- Promote a neat and orderly stock room, complying with Company/State guidelines.
- Adhere to local, federal, and state laws, as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Perform assigned duties and demonstrate professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork.
- Strong communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
- Customer Centric/Sales Driven – Assess customer experience, promote engagement, and offer aligned products.
- Ensure Effective Communication – Listen attentively, communicate clearly, and professionally.
- Establish Trust – Follow through on commitments, be honest, and direct.
- $15-$18 per hour* plus selling incentives (SPIFFS) and monthly store sales bonus opportunity.
