Responsibilities- Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, chassis, and body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels, and tires.
- Inspections: Inspect equipment and trucks for condition, operations, parts, and fluid levels, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs.
- Hydraulics Repair: Have knowledge of hydraulics repair and be able to utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes.
- Safety Checks: Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Paperwork: Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and repair times.
- Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports: Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintenance Work: Perform maintenance-related work as required.
- Clean and Safe Work Area: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Physical Activity: Perform extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- CDL: Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred, or the ability to obtain in the future.
- Tools: Must provide own personal tools.
- Yearly Safety Bonuses: Receive bonuses for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Tool Allowance: Receive a tool allowance after 60 days of employment.
