As a Pharmacy Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the medications they need to thrive. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking, packing, and processing outgoing pharmacy orders, adhering to policies and procedures, and performing various warehouse functions. You'll also assist with inventory duties, including proper storage and restocking of medication and supplies, receiving, and unpacking vendor shipments. Additionally, you'll create or fix shipping labels as needed and bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed. You'll communicate with the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Supervisor regarding all patient questions and/or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to packaging medication and supplies, ensuring the integrity of the product for our patients
  • Perform various warehouse functions, including emptying trash, assembling boxes, cleaning work areas, processing and cleaning returned equipment, and assisting with inventory duties
  • Create or fix shipping labels as needed and bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed
  • Communicate with the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Supervisor regarding all patient questions and/or issues

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse setting
  • 6+ months of pharmacy/healthcare-related experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly, occasionally lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hr shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Home Infusion experience

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
