Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to packaging medication and supplies, ensuring the integrity of the product for our patients.
- Perform various warehouse functions, including emptying trash, assembling boxes, cleaning work areas, processing and cleaning returned equipment, and assisting with inventory duties.
- Support administrative tasks for the Pharmacy, such as scanning documents, creating or fixing shipping labels, and communicating with the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Supervisor regarding patient questions and/or issues.
- Ensure adherence to all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and UHG Confidentiality and Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher) or 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse setting.
- 6+ months of pharmacy/healthcare-related experience.
- Beginner level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hr shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Home Infusion experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
