As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our experienced pharmacy team to develop your skills and knowledge, and will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized, portable credential that will help you advance your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision
  • Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy department
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and patients
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control
  • Prefer PTCB certification
