Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for driving nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify gaps in nursing practice and develop plans to improve quality and safety outcomes
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality/patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
  • 2 years applicable experience required; 5 years preferred
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • Prefers Master's degree in Nursing
