About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in driving quality and safety initiatives across our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines that improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical professional development to identify gaps in caregiver skills and competencies, and develop plans to address these gaps.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to inform care decisions.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines.
  • Conduct unit rounds to coach and mentor caregivers on best practices and quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
  • 2 years of applicable experience in a clinical setting.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • 5 years of applicable experience in a clinical setting.
