Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm for 3 days each week, and 10:00am-7:00pm for 2 days each week.
About Us: Premier Orthopaedics is a comprehensive orthopaedic practice established in 2000, specializing in the assessment and treatment of a diverse array of orthopaedic injuries and conditions. Through our collaboration with the Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), we have expanded to over 50 specialized locations and employ more than 100 physicians throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

- Implements care plans in accordance with state board guidelines and recommendations.
- Addresses patient inquiries and concerns to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Records patient care and related information in compliance with medical record requirements and state regulations.
- Acts as an integral member of the treatment team for each assigned case.
- Adheres to departmental policies and state regulations regarding OSHA and infection control.
- Assists in the training of Physical Therapy Aides.
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited institution, with certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting or equivalent.
- Current state PTA certification.
- Understanding of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices.
- Familiarity with the operation of physical therapy equipment.
- Knowledge of company policies, OSHA, and infection control standards.
- Proficient in effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
