Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Imaging Assistant to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinical staff with direct patient care, clerical duties, and technical tasks to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Prepare patients for exams, maintaining a high level of sensitivity to their needs and comfort.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from procedure rooms and equipment.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Inspect and maintain transport equipment, reporting any issues to relevant personnel.
  • Perform IV insertions upon certification and skill validation.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in patient care or customer service.
  • IV certification.
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to:

  • Hear and listen effectively.
  • Lift and move patients safely.
  • Perform manual dexterity tasks.
  • See and observe patient needs.
  • Stand for extended periods.
