SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Business Analyst to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software development and project oversight, with experience in collaborating with governmental agencies. The successful individual will be tasked with steering and managing software initiatives from inception to completion, employing agile methodologies to guarantee effective and timely outcomes.

This full-time role allows for complete remote work with minimal travel requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the project lifecycle and manage all facets of software development initiatives, including scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Engage with project stakeholders and product owners to ensure alignment of development objectives with broader business goals.
  • Implement agile methodologies and ensure team adherence to these practices.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate development activities, including resource management, project scheduling, and risk assessment.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure project outputs meet quality benchmarks and are delivered punctually.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and product owners, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Provide strategic direction to software developers and product stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze and define product/project requirements based on client feedback and priorities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • PMP or Agile certification is advantageous.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience leading projects within this framework.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with governmental agencies and familiarity with their operational procedures.
  • Knowledge of project management software or specific tools relevant to governmental projects.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; an active Secret clearance is preferred.
