Position Overview

Salary: $19-21 per hour

Hope Harbor is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a supportive environment for adolescent boys, focusing on their development in life skills, social interactions, daily living, and spiritual growth. Our facility accommodates boys aged 12-17, with a capacity of up to 12 residents.

The Residential Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the residential services, ensuring effective case management for the residents, guiding and training the direct care staff, and maintaining the facility as a nurturing home. This position is based on-site with standard working hours during weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, including one shift during the afternoon, evening, or weekend weekly, along with a rotating on-call duty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program management tasks such as conducting client interviews, planning goals, assessing client needs, preparing reports, facilitating meetings, communicating with families, and assisting in crisis management.
  • Lead staff training initiatives by utilizing leadership skills to guide staff in client care, uphold best practices, implement training resources, and coordinate volunteer efforts.
  • Manage household operations by reviewing program policies, overseeing client and household supplies, managing medication protocols, ensuring emergency procedures are followed, and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities including attending meetings, leveraging personal strengths to support the organization, setting objectives, and addressing other needs as they arise.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A strong Christian faith and value system.
  • A Bachelor's degree in counseling, sociology, administration, social work, ministry, or a related field.
  • Experience in working with individuals with mental health challenges and/or a background in direct services, program development, or case management.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, pass a background check, and possess a genuine passion for nonprofit work.
