POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Banking Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both new and existing clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizes the Westfield Bank Service and Sales Process to foster and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Complies with established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
  • Informs potential clients about bank products, catering to both retail and commercial needs.
  • May assist in executing teller transactions and managing night deposit bags independently.
  • Ensures the security of the cash drawer as necessary.
  • Balances cash drawer at the end of the day when applicable.
  • Aims to meet designated sales targets through the promotion of bank products and services tailored to customer needs.
  • Facilitates the opening of new accounts and performs necessary account maintenance.
  • Addresses and resolves customer inquiries and issues.
  • Handles applications and closes consumer loans.
  • Assists clients with Safe Deposit services.
  • May obtain Notary Public certification if required.
  • Completes BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
  • Adheres to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures relevant to the position.
  • Performs additional tasks as requested.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
