Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate is to uphold the core values established by the management team. The main goal is to Delight Every Customer Every Time. Associates are expected to engage with customers, identify their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving and organizing merchandise as directed by management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department.
  • Execute daily operational goals and priorities set by store management, demonstrating a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in daily meetings to share ideas for improvement.
  • Restock merchandise displays and handle special orders for non-stock items.
  • Monitor for shoplifting and take appropriate action according to company policy.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by being knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable.
  • Engage with customers proactively, offering assistance and information as needed.
  • Promote the rewards program and maintain awareness of current promotions.
  • Assist in training and developing new team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and assist in various store areas.
  • Consistent attendance and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and bend as necessary. Must be able to lift and handle merchandise up to 40 pounds.


Work Environment

The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
