Position Summary

Our Knoxville, TN branch is in search of a motivated individual to fill the role of Sales Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enjoy engaging with clients, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding our conveyor belt products and related services.
  • Prepare pricing estimates and sales orders based on customer requests.
  • Collaborate with outside sales and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and order fulfillment.
  • Engage with various internal departments including production, purchasing, and quality assurance to meet customer needs.
  • Propose enhancements in products, packaging, shipping, and service processes to mitigate future issues.
  • Support billing processes and manage Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate effectively with office personnel.
  • Address customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction for both the customer and the company.
  • Conduct specific customer procedures, including reviewing invoicing and ordering instructions to meet compliance requirements.
  • Maintain ethical standards in all business transactions and foster strong relationships with accounting for timely collections.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for pricing and lead times on procurement items.
  • Perform additional customer service activities as required and undertake other related duties as assigned.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in industrial sales.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in inside sales or customer service within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
