Position Summary
Our Knoxville, TN branch is in search of a motivated individual to fill the role of Sales Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enjoy engaging with clients, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. We value problem solvers who are eager to learn and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding our conveyor belt products and related services.
- Prepare pricing estimates and sales orders based on customer requests.
- Collaborate with outside sales and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and order fulfillment.
- Engage with various internal departments including production, purchasing, and quality assurance to meet customer needs.
- Propose enhancements in products, packaging, shipping, and service processes to mitigate future issues.
- Support billing processes and manage Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate effectively with office personnel.
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction for both the customer and the company.
- Conduct specific customer procedures, including reviewing invoicing and ordering instructions to meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain ethical standards in all business transactions and foster strong relationships with accounting for timely collections.
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for pricing and lead times on procurement items.
- Perform additional customer service activities as required and undertake other related duties as assigned.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in industrial sales.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in inside sales or customer service within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
