Job Title: Senior Catering Manager

Compass Group Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Catering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership and professional support team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of all catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise sales and event order communications, scheduling, and training of service staff.
  • Plan, deliver, set up, clean up, and properly invoice for all daily events.
  • Develop and implement culinary programs to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Manage financial aspects of catering operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute special events and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • A.S. or equivalent experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • General hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
  • At least two years of similar work experience in catering or a related field.
  • Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Proficient with web-based ordering systems and proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers.
  • Possess the ability to meet company-specific uniform standards for this position.
  • Utilize all personal protective equipment per company guidelines.
  • Ability to work at times with minimal supervision and accomplish tasks without direct instruction.
