About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Hames Corporation. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering questions about products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading merchandise, checking inventory, and verifying shipments for accuracy.
  • Process sales and returns accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and presentation of products to create an attractive and appealing store display.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
