A Worksite Erosion Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring NPDES permit compliance, specifically in regards to erosion control measures. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to identify potential erosion control issues

  • Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure compliance with erosion control measures
  • Work primarily outdoors on live construction projects, requiring ability to walk and drive on site
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) test
  • Visual inspections involve walking and driving on site, with ability to navigate through mud, obstacles, and varying terrain
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required
  • Supervisory skills include managing a crew, training employees, evaluating performance, and reporting time
  • People skills involve meeting with principals, supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills involve negotiating cost-efficient solutions for the company and owner
  • Must promote and adhere to the company's safety program, encouraging a safety-first culture among employees, sub-contractors, and consultants
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
