We are seeking an experienced Automotive Claims Specialist Arbitrator II to join our team at Cox Automotive. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving customer concerns in the fast-paced world of vehicle purchases.
Key Responsibilities- Review customer claims to verify that they meet Manheim's National Arbitration policies and account-specific guidelines.
- Investigate cases with increasing complexity that allow for less prescriptive decision-making and require infrequent involvement from senior staff.
- Interface with all departments involved in the complaint, including during the fact-finding and investigative phases.
- Use appropriate resources to investigate and facilitate relevant inspection, documentation, and communication to ensure appropriate actions are completed to move cases forward or to resolution.
- Evaluate claims by obtaining, comparing, evaluating, and validating various forms of information.
- Prepare and facilitate communication for resolution via telephone, email, and in-person discussion.
- Mediate dispute and negotiate repair and/or pricing of disputed vehicles to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution and to keep vehicles sold.
- Monitor and maintain accurate files for each arbitration case, verifying the accuracy of all required documentation, including invoices and settlement agreements.
- A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field of claims management, claims investigation, and/or problem and conflict resolution.
- The ability to adapt in a fluid and changing environment.
