- Responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of competent care and safety are consistently provided to all residents. This role is ideal for a driven and ambitious professional with experience in assisted living.
- Manages physician orders, administers medications, collects and maintains resident data, takes vital signs, and assists with resident comfort.
- Communicates effectively with residents and their families in a respectful manner.
- Experience or education in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Must demonstrate flexibility, punctuality, professionalism, and reliability.
- Basic computer skills are necessary; experience with PCC e-MAR is preferred.
- An LPN Team Leader collaborates closely with RNs and LPNs to ensure optimal functioning of assigned units and supervises unit staff.
- Scheduling and assigning nursing personnel as required for the department.
- Responsible for upholding the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of residents and their families.
- Supports nursing staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures while also suggesting improvements.
- Provides essential information to residents and the healthcare team.
- Maintains accurate documentation of resident care services.
- Degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
- Experience or education in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable.
Absolut Care operates multiple skilled nursing facilities and an assisted living facility, offering a range of services including subacute rehabilitation, long-term care, and hospice.
