Job Title: Construction Cost Analyst

Join Microsoft's Cloud Operations and Innovation team as a Construction Cost Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in delivering timely and insightful data for leadership reporting and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into construction project data
  • Apply analytical techniques to conduct data analysis on diverse construction-related data
  • Collaborate with partner teams within Project Controls and Construction to enhance data-driven decision-making
  • Implement predictive analytics to forecast and analyze future project performance
  • Manage substantial volumes of construction-related data and ensure data integrity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a construction project management or project controls role with responsibility to understand and analyze cost and schedule project performance
  • Advanced experience with Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Python, and Power BI
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Construction industry experience with a background in project controls functions managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Advanced ability to develop, update, and maintain reporting dashboards using Python and Power BI
  • Team player, self-driven, and performs well in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and develop support from a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Competitive salary range: $94,600 - $183,800 per year (USD)
