Overview

The Product Analyst role at 3MD Inc. is a key position that utilizes data to drive meaningful customer experiences in the Consumer / IoT / Value Added Services / Network products Marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore customer experience, product performance data, develop goals, tracking metrics, ensure product priorities are data-driven and accommodate short-term and long-term goals
  • Develop in-depth analytical insights around stability, performance, and customer experience across a variety of data sets and platforms
  • Build strategic relationships and manage communication and alignment across multiple partner teams
  • Partner with Research, Sales Support, and Marketing teams to identify opportunities to improve our products based on customer feedback and help quantify the impact of their qualitative insights
  • Instill a focus on quality in the product culture by creating objective data-driven stories that influence and convince product teams to prioritize quality projects
  • Inform, influence, and execute new quality initiatives that are data-driven and meaningfully shift core metrics in the positive direction
  • Manage medium to large-sized projects
  • Build automated, actionable and accurate reporting suites
  • Analyze current business performance and build models to both explain current trends and create forecasts that accurately predict future outcomes
  • Query and analyze data from various and differing systems (both technical and process)
  • Present and defend analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Be the subject matter expert for analytics relative to existing technologies and any new products/platforms that are being tested or released
  • Provide support for conversion optimization and A/B testing efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years post-collegiate work experience doing quantitative analysis or Master or PhD with 2+ years' work experience doing quantitative analysis
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Python, R, Perl or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
  • Analytical experience, with experience building product intuition, solving problems using data and providing business insights
  • Be a team leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills working across technical and business teams
  • Experience creating and telling stories from data
  • Experience constructing interpersonal relationships across teams, communicate technical content and analytical insights to multiple audiences
  • Experience driving change through influence, and collaborating with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Work experience in tech, hardware, engineering, consulting or related industry
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other tech or math-related fields
  • Experience at a software technology company

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
