Mental Health Professional

We are seeking an experienced part-time Psychiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children of all ages, providing trauma-informed psychiatric services using evidence-based medical practices within a person-centered framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
- Provide patient-centered care, ensuring client voice and choice is included in treatment, encouraging and supporting participation in clinical services, and referring clients to internal and external ancillary services for whole health improvement.
- Engage clients successfully in both in-person and telehealth sessions, providing initial evaluations, re-evaluations, ongoing medication management, ordering, reviewing, and interpreting laboratory/diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with primary care physicians and specialists.
- Complete billing and clinical documentation in a timely manner and according to current policies and procedures, complying with legal requirements, including federal, state, and local laws and regulations, licensure requirements, and standards set by accrediting agencies and third-party payers.
Requirements
- D./D.O. with subspecialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the state of Michigan.
- Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- At least 1 year of experience in psychiatry with children, adolescents, and families, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment competencies in pediatric psycho-pharmacology.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary clinical team and provide leadership skills.

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $180/hour, reflecting the expertise and qualifications required for this role.
