About the Role

The Mental Health Technician will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our emergency department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing individualized attention and support to patients with mental illness
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Participating in patient education and empowerment initiatives
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, including documentation of patient interactions and observations
• Assisting with medication administration and medical procedures as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A degree in psychology, social work, or a human services discipline
• At least one year of experience working in an adult mental health setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits and Compensation
