Our service specialists are essential to our operations, excelling in a safety-oriented culture. You will be responsible for diagnosing 480 3-phase motors, resolving crane-related challenges, and collaborating with clients and facility managers to fulfill service requirements nationwide.

What We Provide:

Compensation: $22 - $48 per hour - Salary is based on expertise, geographic location, internal equity, market analysis, years of relevant experience, educational qualifications, certifications, and technical assessment results.

Company Vehicle: Our Service Specialists receive a work vehicle and a fuel card for business use. Candidates must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at client sites.Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.Conduct post-repair audits to ensure safety features are operational.Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to clients.Consult with clients on repair and safety matters, offering suggestions for material handling enhancements.Generate electronic documentation using company tools, obtaining client signatures.Stay informed about industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI).Complete service reports and other required documentation accurately and promptly.Communicate with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator following established protocols.Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in optimal condition.Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles, reporting deficiencies to the supervisor.Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures, including client guidelines.Participate in monthly safety meetings.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. An Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.

Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Some electronic experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Previous experience with cranes is advantageous but not required.

Additional Requirements: Must possess and maintain a clean driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work at heights. Availability for varied overtime as needed by clients, participation in the on-call rotation, and occasional travel for work assignments is required.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. daily. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 100 lbs. rarely. This position involves frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching. Occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling may be required. The role is primarily indoors (approximately 90% of the time) with some outdoor exposure (approximately 10% of the time). Frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and heights is expected.
