Position Summary

Simpson is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our experienced team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in the Personal Care sector. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct initial assessments and document findings to identify issues and establish a diagnosis prior to treatment.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and addressing physical impairments resulting from medical conditions or injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment responses, and modifications to therapy plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and other modalities to support patient recovery and prevent further complications.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness at various stages and adjust interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on home care procedures and ongoing rehabilitation practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and assess comprehensive intervention strategies.
- Review medical referrals and patient histories to inform therapy approaches.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards in all aspects of practice.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with an MPT or DPT

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a physical therapy role

Licenses/Certifications: Current Physical Therapist Pennsylvania State License

Physical Requirements:

- Adequate hearing to perform job duties effectively.
