Role Overview:
The Food and Beverage Director is tasked with managing the operations and personnel of all food and beverage divisions, ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly coordination and departmental meetings
- Communicate upcoming events to the team
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Provide information regarding departmental capabilities to other departments and clients
- Address guest needs and inquiries promptly
- Maintain first-class standards in food, beverage, and service quality
- Oversee the administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet operational needs
- Delegate responsibilities effectively across various food and beverage sub-departments
- Develop and monitor operational schedules to achieve profitability
- Collaborate with culinary teams to create appealing menus that attract target markets
- Foster a positive work environment to encourage employee loyalty
- Implement effective cost control measures for food, beverage, and labor
- Assist managers in meeting profit objectives and quality standards
- Develop operational tools in line with modern management principles
- Oversee departmental payroll
- Address performance issues as necessary
- Regularly assess customer satisfaction and recommend operational improvements
- Encourage continuous improvement among food and beverage personnel

Work Environment:
The role is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled setting, with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. Safety protocols must be followed when handling kitchen equipment and materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Director in a luxury hotel or full-service resort
- Familiarity with Micros systems
- Ability to make swift decisions in high-pressure situations
